“Metallica are going to invite Amy Winehouse onstage for a performance of ‘Nothing Else Matters’ during their headlining slot at Reading and Leeds Festivals.

In the most unlikely pairing since William Shatner and Ben Folds : Heavy Metal legends Metallica have announced on their website.

“We are really looking forward to working with Amy – we have all been listening to the ‘Back to Black’ Album in the studio and it has been really really rubbing off on us – we figured we have a ‘Black Album’ so let’s do a duet’.

Amy also self-announced that she would like to perform on one of the heavier tracks from Master of Puppets - ideally ‘Battery’. “
