New Metallica Album.com

Metallica is letting out little tidbits about their upcoming album in drips and drabs, and the latest is that it will be out “this fall,” while frontman James Hetfield said that U.S. tour dates are planned for September. The band revealed the info on Saturday during their “Record Store Day” appearance at the Rasputin Music shop in Mountain View, CA. Meanwhile, perhaps in an effort to thwart early leaks, the band has launched a new Web site at MissionMetallica.com that will allow fans to hear the new album before it’s finished. The site reads “Mission: Metallica Coming This May” and fans can submit their e-mail address for updates. source
